SUMMARY:2020 CEU Fall Blitz - POSTPONED
DESCRIPTION:The Board of Directors voted to cancel the September event and move it to September 10\, 2021 in Las Cruces. The board requested that rather than doing a lot of virtual classes that the Office of the State Engineer renew Driller's licenses as "temporary" licenses. Below is their response:\n\n\n\nHello Robin\,\n\n\n\nWe have considered the NMGWA request and find it would be prudent to postpone the September CEU event. The OSE will allow a temporary renewal to all drillers lacking their CEU's for the unforeseeable future with the stipulation that we will expect those credits be recuperated once large events are again allowed to happen.\n\n\n\nAs always\, you and I will maintain communication throughout the year and see where we land for the January CEU event.\n\n \n\nThank you for considering everyone's health and also their professional development.\n\n\n\nMy best\,\n\nJerri\n\n \n\nJerri Pohl\n\nNM Office of the State Engineer\n\nStatewide Projects\n\n505-827-7848\n\nThe NMGWA will continue to monitor Covid 19 restrictions as we move forward and make a decision on January as we get closer.\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions please Robin or any one of the board members know.
